Prosper High School is a school in Prosper, Texas, USA. It is part of Prosper Independent School District located in western Collin County, with a small portion of the district extending into Denton County. In addition to Prosper, the district serves a portion of McKinney. The 2009-2010 school year began in a brand new building. The new high school remains the most expensive in the state of Texas and is only at half its capacity. Prosper, Texas is predicted to grow drastically within the next decade. In 2011, the school was rated "Recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
